I got the whole basics of the plot and thought it was a good way to to carry on the series. Honestly i saw this straight Japanese with no subs or anything but i loved it. I mean i was expecting that they could have cosplay the main characters better I'm very surprised that Sebastian got his hair curled lol. More worst is that they make Ciel as a girl.
It would be best if they didn't change the story. Well, it's okay to change the story but i hope they could have justified the characters on how they should look like and most importantly they should have include other main characters that were not there in the movie.
Japan is known to be famous cosplayers however with this turns to be a disaster.especially that ciel becomes a girl and Sebastian got hair curled. However, for kuroshitsuji fans, this movie is quite frustrating! I was expecting more, most especially on how the characters cosplay every detailed of the main characters in the story. And i guess only non-kuroshitsuji fans would appreciate it. The characters tried their best to portray the roles to make it more similar with the Manga/Anime version. I can say the movie and the story was good. Actor Hiro Mizushima dropped his weight down to 50 kg to portray Sebastian Michealis.Filming took place mostly in Kyushu, Japan. Filming began Apand finish in mid May, 2013.According to producer Shinjo Matsuhashi, they changed the setting to the year 2020 in Asia, because, otherwise, they could not cast Japanese actors for the film. Although the manga series is set in 19th century England, the movie is set in the year 2020 in Asia.Based on manga series "Kuroshitsuji" by Yana Toboso (first published Septemby Monthly GFantasy).Their deal involves Butler Sebastian protecting Ciel until her revenge is fulfilled and then Sebastian will consume Shiori's spirit. In order to take revenge, Shiori makes a deal with Butler Sebastian ( Hiro Mizushima). As a descendant of the noble family Phantomhive, Shiori solves difficult cases which are ordered by the queen.
